Food Quality Badges

We discover products and handcrafted foods under a seal of differentiated quality, European (PDO, PGI and TSG) national and regional. These insignia are regulated by the Autonomous Communities. In addition to providing generic information about these distinctions, we provide all the information so that the consumer can know them and differentiate them through their labeling of these products, facilitating their search for a classification by geographical origin / regions and / or category / type of product.

DIFFERENTIAL QUALITY

Products of differentiated quality have to fulfill a series of characteristics that make reference to the geographical area of production / elaboration and characteristics that they have to fulfill. Only products that meet these requirements may display their marking on the labeling. The badge is granted and supervised by a control body, which records the basic data (registered companies, tons marketed … etc.).

STAMPS OF COMMUNITY REGULATION

They are those products protected by an EU regulation that guarantees the fulfillment of requirements superior to those required for other products; Ie products with PDO, PGI or TGE.

Products protected by the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) are those whose quality or characteristics are due to the geographical environment with its natural and human factors and whose production, processing and processing is always carried out in that defined geographical area from which they take name.

Products with a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) possess any particular quality or reputation or other characteristic that can be attributed to a geographical origin and whose production, transformation or elaboration takes place in the delimited geographical area of which it also takes its name.

The Traditional Specialties Guaranteed (T.S.G) are the products that have specific characteristics differentiating from other foods of the same category. In addition, these agricultural products or foodstuffs must be produced from traditional raw materials, or present a traditional composition, mode of production or transformation.

Each of these stamps will be accompanied by the regulatory seal of the product in question and that we describe in the tab of marks of quality by product.
